Parenting in a Digital Age

Online and digital communication have become an integral part of how people communicate and for youth it is the focal point of their social engagement. The majority of youth are engaged on some type of social networking platform everyday, and sometimes without the knowledge of their parents. As a parent, this can be difficult to monitor, it’s hard enough trying to keep up with the latest trends in digital communication. This workshop will provide parents with knowledge about using technology and the potential concerns they may have. It will also provide parents with skills so they can talk to their children about social media and technology.
